I don’t know about you but between the binge eatings that happen during the holidays, I like to try to keep my diet as clean as possible (it doesn’t always work out that way but I really give it the ole college try).

Simple Green Protein Smoothie To protein or not to protein, that is the question. OK, so maybe that’s not THE question but it’s one that I get asked often by family and friends when it comes to post workout drinks. It can be a very controversial topic so I want to be clear that I am sharing my own opinion of what I have learned and what I know to be best for myself.

Personally, I enjoy a post workout protein drink, it has shown to improve my recovery time and also gives me the energy I need after a tiring training session (not mention they are delicious). So when it comes to recommending them to friends and family, I say yes. But, that recommendation comes with a big BUT. My largest hang up when it comes to protein drinks is the source of that protein, as in, what kind of protein powder are you using. READ MORE
